Summary/Abstract: This article is filed philosophical analysis of death as a social phenomenon in traditional culture and modern society. In the social environment appears simulation image of death, which is perceived as available mastering and manipulation. Death presented its alternative – signs, simulacrum – to regulate the social sphere the individual.
