Summary/Abstract: Recently, we celebrated 25 years of freedom. It is a period long enough to see emotional media campaigns related to political elections or important decisions of a social nature. Due to the density of messages coming to us, we often lose a clear picture of what is information and what is already an attempt to manipulate. The media play an important role in democratic societies and they are referred to as the fourth power. On the other hand, the fear of losing independent opinion and decision is present in our lives. Therefore, are we, the citizens, still able to reflectively receive and process information? Or maybe we are already automated consumers?
