Summary/Abstract: Following the activity of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (RIL Panel), in February, the following were published: The HCCJ Decision No. 28/2017 on Article 107 of the Civil Code and Article 133 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 70 paragraph (3) of Law No. 272/2004 on the protection and promotion of children’s rights, republished, as subsequently amended and supplemented, the HCCJ Decision No. 24/2017 on Article 72 and Article 153ˆ12 of Law No. 31/1990, with reference to Article 1552 of the 1864 Civil Code, respectively to Article 2.030 of Law No. 287/2009 on the Civil Code, with the application of Article 54 paragraph (2) of Law No. 31/1990, the HCCJ Decision No. 26/2017 on Article 86 of the Criminal Procedure Code, in criminal matters, and the HCCJ Decision No. 27/2017 on Article 5 paragraph (4) and Article 9 of Law No. 8/2006, the jurisdiction to settle disputes concerning the appeal against the decision to terminate the payment of compensation provided for under Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law No. 8/2006.
