Summary/Abstract: Current economy, emphasizes innovativeness and manages the knowledge, the results on research and development works and is one of the most vital elements which determines the development the whole economy and particular company. This fact motivates universities to a wider engagement into research and development work and its commercialization. The aim of this article is to show the selected obstacles and barriers in the procedures of commercialization research and development works by polish universities.
