Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research carried out within the framework of the present article is a detailed analysis of the origin, formation, and development of Poland and Ukraine’s twin cities’ compounds. The main attention will be focused on the historical aspects of identification of Ukrainian and Polish town twinning cooperation development. An important part of this work will cover the determination of the spatial aspects of Ukraine and Poland twin cities’ development cooperation
