Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is the evaluation of description of parties or party to an administrative decision in a distribution list in the light of the jurisprudence of administrative courts and views expressed in the legal scholarship. The analysis is purely procedural and focused on the obligatory element of a decision, being the appropriate description of parties to administrative proceedings, as required by Article 107 of the Code of Administrative Procedure. So defined subject matter has been analysed in the past, however the discussion in the legal writings was not extensive even though the topic deserves more attention due to its practical relevance. The significance of the problem has been proved recently by the rulings of the Regional Administrative Court in Warsaw delivered in reply to complaints challenging the decisions of the Supreme Sanitary Inspector concerning the quasi-drugs (“dopalacze”). These rulings were critically discussed even in the popular press.
