Summary/Abstract: The author of the scientific article discusses the possibility of formation of bainite in the structure highcupriferous cast irons with a copper content above the limit of solubility in the solid solution. Marked features of the structure after cupreous ductile iron casting, normalization and isothermal hardening under different modes in the intermediate temperature transformation of austenite. Marked changes occurring in the structure of experimental alloys.
