Summary/Abstract: In this article the author investigates the views of leading scientists in the field of criminology and criminal process and analyze materials of criminal cases to determine organizational and procedural features using expertise in investigating violations of the order of operations with scrap metal. The author gives recognize that interaction with a specialist in the investigation of criminal violations of the order of operations with scrap metal is essential for technical assistance investigator when he does not have or has imperfect methods of use of technical equipment, the need for which arises during the investigative (detective) actions.
