Summary/Abstract: In the scientific article author with regard to the provisions of the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, explores the procedural and organizational features of activities to verify the statements and reports of criminal offenses. The provisions of article turns the procedural status of the applicant, is considered the procedure of introduction of information about criminal offenses in the Unified Registry of pre-trial investigations. Overall, the author proposed to be amended in criminal and criminal procedural law, as these industries are closely linked, which should besystematic, since otherwise the desired result will not be returned
