CONTEMPORANEOUS ORIENTATIONS IN THE SCIENCE PHILOSOPHY AND THE HISTORICAL EDUCATION RESEARCH

Summary/Abstract: Our study interprets some of the contemporaneous orientations in the science philosophy, asserted and disputed in the second half of the 20-th century and the beginning of this century. The purpose of this approach consists to derive those connotations on the reflection and the epistemological substantiation of the pedagogy, as a field of the socio-human consciousness. This paper assesses and presents four relevant contributions to the science philosophy from the view of their connotations on the theoretical and methodological orientations concerning the importance and the specificity of the historical research in education.
