Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present the most important issues concerning the history of terrorism. The article contains the analysis of the four various stages of the development of terrorism and explains the formation of the modern terrorism, considered as one of the most serious global threats. Furthermore, in the text of the article, it can also be found the key findings and conclusions concerning the issues raised in it.
