Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes some aspects of the problem of forming a creative personality of a future teacher-educator. The article focuses on a research position on disclosure of the ratio of the concepts "creativity" and "creativity", "potential personality" – the "creative potential", "creative personality," "creative personality". The creative potential is considered as an integrative quality, characterizing the degree of development of creative abilities of personality and the possibilities of its realization in creative activity, searching, guided installation process for a new, unknown to themselves, using non-standard means. Stresses the importance of creative teaching, creative activity, creative abilities in the formation of creative personality of future specialists of preschool education.
