ON THE ISSUE OF REFORMING THE SYSTEM OF INSTITUTIONS IN SPHERE FOOD SAFETY THE ISSUE OF BIOSAFETY

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the problem of reforming of system of public authorities responsible for food safety under the problem of Biosafety. Reviewed the credentials and competence of those state bodies, which liquidated and the successor which was created in the framework of optimization of work of bodies of Executive power of the State service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection. Clarified the main functions and powers of the newly formed service and ways of improving the institutional component of the Biosafety framework in terms of ensuring state control and supervision of food safety.
