Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of state and problems of scientific research in the sphere of resocialization of sentenced to imprisonment, especially of female minors. The author made conclusions as to the clarification of essence, content, stages and specificity of resocialization of female minors sentenced to imprisonment; solution to the problem as to defining the conceptual apparatus; rationale of gender approach in the resocialization of female minors.
