Summary/Abstract: The book is a delicate creature that suffers from the ruin of time, fears by the rodents and the clumsy hands. The librarian and the deposit keep it not only from mankind but also from the nature and the power of oblivion. After the Liberation the library legislation in Bulgaria is one successful beginning.“Pencho Slaveikov” Public Library is the oldest cultural institute in Varna and the region and has the honor and the privilege to fall into the field of care and protection by the depositing law norm and to be a guardian of the “rose” for the future generations.The focus of this report is to seek the place of the new within the tradition. Libraries could offer their information products and services in a modern way. The eBook is here. It goes hand in hand with her paper sister and everyone involved in her path is bound to make it easier and facilitate its meeting with the new generations.
