Summary/Abstract: Modernization of modern education implies a qualitative change in the system of vocational formation of value orientations of the future teacher of new formation. Values are a meaningful value-semantic dimension that characterizes the subject as a person. In the article the problem of values in historical perspective, outlines two approaches to the definition of the term: objectivist and subjectivist. In the article the problem of formation of value orientations of the individual, revealed the essence of values, outlines objectivistic and subjectivist aspects of values in educational activities. Proved that the complex nature of values leads to their different classifications. Presented system most common in modern science classification values and value orientations. Teacher investigated in terms of values the concept of "value educational activities," singled values of educational activities.
