Summary/Abstract: The focal point of the author’s attention in this article is the impact of the globalization process on the constitutional guarantees, content and protection of human rights in domestic law. In the light of comparative constitutionality, the article focuses on the following issues: 1. International human rights standards (legal sources and their status in national law) and their impact on internal law, particularly on the constitutional guarantees of human rights and their protection. 2. Acceptance and implementation of international human rights standards in domestic law (the constitution and laws). 3. Internal (state) control (on the basis of accepted international obligations) and external control (by international bodies, monitoring the implementation of international human rights standards in domestic law). Special attention is given to reporting on the implementation of international human rights standards and recommendations of international bodies that oversee the implementation of international standards. 4. Protection of human rights in domestic law (by courts and the Constitutional Court) and the international protection of human rights (before international courts), and relations between international law and domestic law.
