The security concept has changed in the last half of the century and international actors have acknowledged the danger, so they choose a different path than the military confrontations, so the state is no longer a leading actor in international relations. This paper aims to analyze, in a stingily way, the new areas of security, defined by the Copenhagen School and subsequently adopted by the international environment. Approaches to security will be presented from the perspective of the main theories of International Relations, alongside with the major threats to the world stability.
