Summary/Abstract: Based on the observation that traditional grammar presents gaps in the learning of the relative subordinate and pronouns of the same name, we will try to demonstrate, through this article, that certain linguistic theories can be of considerable Teaching of the same fact of language. To do so, our approach consists in analyzing grammars on this fact of language in order to reveal and to show the gaps. Then, we will examine some linguistic theories dealing with the relative subordinate proposition under the concept of "value of applicability", as elaborated by Damar. A concept for evaluating the relevance of linguistic theories in a didactic context (Damar, 2009b). Not all of them apply at the same level, the value of applicability will have demonstrated the consistency and credibility of the linguistic content of certain theories. With a linguistic, acquisition and didactic perspective, our aim is to renew grammatical instruction in the FLE classroom by offering Algerian learners an efficient and useful pedagogical support.
