Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the comprehension of interdependence of gothic and romanticism in cultural dynamics. The author analyses the influence of gothic on romanticism as an artistic direction, examines actualization of gothic through romanticism due to their essence cognation which in future opens up in goths subculture.
