Summary/Abstract: This essay describes a concrete marriage practice Greek-Christian Community in a town of Beit Sahour. This article is primarily based on a field research (between 2009 and 2012 in the West Bank), which is the main source of data. Apart from the question of what is perceived as an ideal marriage and a forbidden marriage, the article analyzes some specific cases of marriages of members of this community.
