Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the diagnostic function of the teacher as a precondition for its willingness to nurture a sense of human dignity students. It is proved that the ability to see, diagnose various states of the individual is the key to positive communication with students, and the ability to put oneself in the child and pedagogical skills – factors of successful performance of the functions of teachers, including educational.
