Summary/Abstract: Brčko is one of the numerous municipalities in BiH where the Serb-Montenegrin aggressors and forces of the Bosnian Serbs committed the worst types of crimes against non-Serb population, particularly against Bosniak civilians. This crime included direct participation by the Yugoslav National Army (JNA) troops, stationed and prepared in the Brčko barracks and at selected location around the town of Brčko, where they had tanks and heavy artillery available to them. In addition to the JNA units, the crimes in Brčko were committed by paramilitary units comprising Bosnian Serbs and their fellow nationals from Serbia such as: Arkanovci, Šešeljevci, Beli orlovi and units commanded by Captain Dragan. This was a crime of genocide, planned and organised by the political and military leaderships of Serbia and the Bosnian Serbs, with the aim of destroying part of the ethnic, national and religious groups of Croats and Bosniaks.
