FORMATION OF THE ECONOMIC CONSCIOUSNESS A SCIENTIST UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION REFORMS IN UKRAINE

Summary/Abstract: In this article the main approaches to the definition of the economic consciousness of a person and a scientist are presented; the material on the analysis of the structure and forms of economic consciousness is summarized; the central tendencies in the economic socialization of scientific and pedagogical workers are substantiated. It is established that, as of today, there is a number of scientific researches devoted to the study of economic consciousness as a form of social consciousness, its structure, levels, functions, types, etc. However, there are practically no works devoted to the analysis of the place, role and importance of economic socialization of the scientists themselves. And in view of the focused attention to the identified problem in pedagogical and economic science and its demand in practice and, at the same time, in view of the lack of a systematic, comprehensive general theoretical study of the place, role and significance of the economic socialization of scientists, there are grounds to state that this study is devoted to the pressing problem that has both theoretical and practical significance.
