Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the essence of the concept of "historical memory", analyzes the evolution of the content of the concept, depending on the historical period and the political situation in the Ukrainian-Polish relations. The influence of historical memory on the formation of the nation's consciousness and the stability of historical stereotypes in the Ukrainian and Polish societies is observed. The evolution of memory discourse in modern Ukrainian-Polish relations is researched.
