Summary/Abstract: The author presents the results of the brand new round ofnegotiations around Transnistria, breakaway region of Moldova.The meeting in 5+2 format took place in Vienna, while the twosides signed a number of protocol agreements dealing withhumanitarian issues, transport, and infrastructure. The decisionsare supposed to improve the life of ordinary citizens, includingthe University diplomas apostille, fixed and mobiletelecommunications, arable land cultivation, and Romanianlanguagehigh schools in Transnistria. One of the most importantachievements was opening of a bridge over the Dniester (Nistru)river.
