Summary/Abstract: The Humorous Speech used in the novels of the Belgian writer Amelie Nothomb is a critique of literary material reuse, based on a strategy to reactivate the statement in a new context for humorous effect, generally demeaning and provocative. The Humorous Speech intertextual depletes several figures including: literary works cited, and materials analysis undetermined: genres, discourse, style, tone.
