Summary/Abstract: The main subject of the article refers to the use of foresight studies in the process of shaping the future of research on standardized management systems. The article presents the results of a literature review which aimed to indicate the directions of improvement of standardized management systems. Then, foresight studies are discussed as a potential tool that can enable future studies to determine the quality management systems, environmental management and safety management.
