Information Processes in the Organization

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to accentuate an important role of information inthe process of executing decisions. Information is a type of resource which allows for expendingthe knowledge about ourselves and the world we live in. Information constitutesan economic resource necessary for effective functioning of the organization and thereforedetermines its development. The article outlines the role and meaning of information in theprocess of decision making in the organization. The author presents the theoretical approachto the role and function of information in this process and the methodological aspectsof information processing.
