Summary/Abstract: The tools of ergonomic analysis and ergonomic design should be based on the useof virtual reality tools. The article presents available and used ergonomic software used duringthe design of workstations. After a short introduction, the virtual reality and its applicationswere discussed. The third point of this study contains the basic legal requirements relatedto the ergonomic design of workstations obtained through literature research. Then,the virtual reality in ergonomic design and its tools and techniques of ergonomic diagnosiswere discussed. The entire study is closed with a brief summary.
