Summary/Abstract: Telling apart hard-fact reporting from story-telling news is one of the major postulations of journalism meant to discriminate between actuality and narrative. Most of the times, the newsperson’s profession of faith requires truth-value and corroboration of testimonies. The narrative paradigm blurs the gap between entertainment and chronicle, representation and reality while, at once, builds up the social establishment of reality.
