Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to identify the manner in which the spatial and temporal dimensions of a modern literary discourse influence the reader’s perception about the society presented. We chose to analyze the surrealistic type of discourse because of the changes it brings in terms of temporality and chrono-logy, on one hand, and in terms of spatiality and environmental distortion, on the other hand.
