The construction of geographical thought by metaphorization in the context of institutional discourse

Summary/Abstract: This study will provide insight on the many issues related to the metaphor of geographic thought. The lines of analysis that we propose show the weight of metaphor for the construction of geographical thought. The analysis is based on a corpus of texts consisting of geographical study. In this study we will identify some features of the discursive dimension of geography by metaphor. We will better understand why, among other tropes, it is the metaphor that is so often linked to the image.
