Summary/Abstract: The present paper deals with an analysis of regional geographical terms, based on the number of ways in which they accumulated. The more known and more generally, the greater the chances of being assigned to objects in the environment. In this situation there are a number of appellations as vale, viroagă, vad, văgăună, vârf, zăvoi etc. On the opposite side we fiind the dialectical terms whose semantics is reduced to a single purpose and their area of use in a single village: agârnă, blidac, ojoacă etc.
