Summary/Abstract: Teacher training is one of the concerns of the educational policywhich is more and more recquired in its pragmatics, as related tothe development of the social environment. As initial teachertraining is the first step in professionalizing the teaching career, weconsider stimulating the participation of future teacher-students inspecific activities to be important. Therefore, starting from theclarification of the conceptual framework, we intend to verify towhat extent the use of certain models and teaching strategiesencourage the opportunities of active learning by stimulatingstudents to get involved. There was observed an improvement in theresults obtained by the students in the groups we worked with, as aresult of the amending research we had unfolded. The findings arebased on results obtained from implementing the independentvariable and it also emphasizes the practical aspects of strategiesthat can optimize active participation achieved by cooperation andby being computer aided. It follows that modern informationtechnology can be successfully used in the initial training of futureteachers whereas collaborative learning stimulates the activeinvolvement of students.
