The Youth Against the Challenges of the Present Day

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to identify the lifestyle of students and particularly the impact of technology on their lifestyles, valuation and assessment of reality. The lifestyle is commonly assessed by taking into account reasons of satisfaction and fears as well as planes and expectations concerning the future. Technology plays a very important role in the life of young generation and the communication process by modern media has replaced in many situations other means of communication. Technology and its intensive application has become the foundation of the process of unification of the young generation’s lifestyles all over the world. The research conducted has not exposed among students many fears concerning the future, except the fear of military conflict. Becoming independent from parents is postponed till later time and an inclination to take high risk is low concerning family and relatively high concerning professional matters.
