Topicalities in deals with immovable property

Summary/Abstract: The theme of the article is very topical in Latvia, as in recent years the question about a number of imperfections in the field of deals with immovable property has emerged strongly.The issues of deals with immovable property are discussed in the article focusing on the existing system in deals with immovable property, as well as giving an insight into the system offered by the Council of the sworn notaries of Latvia where the form of notarial deed is obligatory in deals with immovable property. The article also comprises the analysis of the model offered by the Ministry of Justice.
