Summary/Abstract: Marketing-ul social îsi face simtita tot mai pregnant prezenta în activitatea de zi cu zi a oamenilor. Se încerca aplicarea principiilor de baza ale marketing-ului mediului social, cerintelor sale imediate sau de perspectiva, pentru a putea fi realizate corespunzator. O latura a acestuia se refera la marketingul educational, cu componenta sa culturala. Biblioteca fiind o institutie social-culturala, cu rol fundamental, sta permanent la dispozitia colectivitatii pentru care a fost creata, straduindu-se, pe cât posibil, sa satisfaca în cât mai bune conditii nevoile utilizatorilor sai. The social marketing is present obviously in the people daily activity. It is attempted to apply the main principles of the social marketing to their presently and long term requirements, to be realized adequate. A side of this it is reported on educational marketing, with its cultural constitution. The library being asocial-cultural institution with essential role, it is always available for the community which it was created, strived itself to satisfy the needs of the customers.
