Summary/Abstract: After a brief recall of the relevance of Hegelian dialectic for Stănescu's poetry, the essay analyzes diverse enunciative strategies performed in several poems, especially "Elegy of the Egg? and "The Slot-Man'?(from his Elegies), in order to stage the birth and evolution of the poetic 'I', as well as the possible worlds generated by the work on the parameters of the act of enunciation in "The Confession of the Bad Dreamer?. In the last section the article shows how such linguistic manipulations are used to political effect to both hide and reveal a more latent dissident vein within Stănescu's poetry.
