Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the concepts of “professional competency of a future teacher” and “project activity of a future teacher”. The main aspects for the usage of the projectbased learning and the valuation parameters of external project evaluation are pointed out. The specifics of the usage of project-based learning as a means of professional competence formation of future teachers in the process of studying the course of “Fundamentals of multimedia” are examined.
