Summary/Abstract: The Rumanian consul in Bitolya Aleksandru K. Padeanu presents in a report from the 5"'. of July 1903 to the Rumanian minister plenipotentiary in Istanbul the population in the Bitolya district according to nationalities and religions. As a result of several years researches he indicates that the population of the district is 870 740 residents - Turks 94 650, Albanian Moslems 29 000, orthodox Albanians 46 320, Rumanians 91 050, Greeks 88 120 etc.
