Summary/Abstract: Textronics is a new field of knowledge, created by the intensive development of the textile technology and fabric construction, as well as by the ever-expanding scope of electronic system applications. The article presents the completed textile industry projects, as well as proposals for new solutions that can enrich the range of intelligent clothing, in order to improve functionality of attire and its comfort of use. The focus was on the use of flexible temperature sensors and the use of flexible photovoltaic cells.
