Summary/Abstract: In order to fulfill its international obligations concerning the protection of the rights of the child, Algeria aims at adapting its national legal system with the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CIDE) adopted since 1992, and with a view to respond to the recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, important institutional and legislative mechanisms should be implemented.
