Summary/Abstract: The thesis addresses the evolution of Slovak oppositionary journalism after the year of 1968. The theoretical part provides concise overview of the general history of Slovakia in its historical context and overview of Slovak journalism between years 1948 – 1972, particularly with emphasis on the years 1968 – 1972. The practical part examines selected journalists, who were denoted as oppositionary. Based on their professional biography, civic orientation and thematic tendency we notice factors affecting their worldview and its reflection in each of individual texts. Significantly, the number of journalistic articles of each examined journalist is different and varies depending on their device in dailies, weeklies or monthlies. The aim of our thesis consists in finding specific journalistic articles, which made the authors undesirable after the year of 1968. Media practice of that time period offers a number of negative consequences of violently ideologized society.
