Summary/Abstract: The investigation demonstrates that nominal incomes grew Ukraine, but real income, that had been taken into account growth inflation, were unstable and significantly decreased in recent years. The basic social guarantees of the state are the minimum wage, minimum pension and subsistence minimum. By 2009, the minimum wage in Ukraine was set below the subsistence mini-mum. In subsequent years it size slightly prevailed (by 3.5%), while the minimum pension continues to be lower than the subsistence minimum. The sharp increase in the minimum wage in 2017 is unfounded and can lead to several negative consequences
