Summary/Abstract: During the period from 2007 to 2017 there were ten papers in German and French published in the journal Questions of Journalism. Seven of them were written by professors from renowned European universities, one by a doctor, also from a European university and two by a university researcher from the Réunion island. The aim of our study was to sum up the content of their papers, emphasize timeless ideas, point out problems that have remained unsolved, but also to highlight issues that have become obsolete due to the dramatically fast pace of development of new technologies.
