THE ESTIMATION OF NATURAL CAPITAL OF UKRAINE

Summary/Abstract: The dynamics of the country's natural capital has been an indicator of the ecological status of a certain territory or an indicator of its quality. Natural goods should be given official accounting status in the national accounting system and an adequate statistical evaluation along with other indicators of economic potential. In the case of a decrease in the number of plant and animal species, one can unequivocally assert the deterioration of the ecological conditions of natural ecosystems, the development of the phenomen of biodiversity degradation. That is why economists often make an attempt to assess the ecological state of the territories through the phenomen of natural capital degradation.
