Summary/Abstract: Research of political socialization explored that the latent effort of the regime to discourage youth of political activity brought success by the beginning of the eighties. Behind political decoration of pseudo-activity organized in the formal sphere of schools individualisation had been identified characteristic for the whole society. Spontaneous groups and organizations appeared independently of official institutions in certain spheres. Street-corner and subway groups, religious “basic groups”, peace movements, groups which wished to establish an independent student representation within educational institutions, as well as those who aimed at setting up an independent youth organization – all these were only small islands but with identifiable messages.
