Research institutes partnership - strategic priority in information assurance of research in agriculture

Summary/Abstract: The Republican Scientific Agricultural Library of Chişinău Agrarian University is the basic library in Moldova, the Information Network of Agricultural Libraries for 23 agricultural libraries, scientific research institutes, colleges and experiment stations. Cooperation results are: the holding function of the National AGRIS Centre (Moldova in the International System for Information Technology and Agricultural Sciences); Creation of Moldova AGRIS database; Agro Web international project of the Central and Eastern European Countries; Joining the International Network of Agricultural Libraries - AGLINET; Elaboration and publication of bibliographic works together with; Launch of ,,Extramuros Information” program, organization of exhibitions; assistance through Selective Dissemination of Information system; Inter Library exchange and donations of documents
