Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the size, age structure and ageing of women in reproductive period, and that as a demographic determinant of fertility. Also, paper analyzes participation of the optimal reproductive age women (RAW) in the overall RAW and its average age. It also explores changes in аge-specific fertility rates from 1950 to 2008, and determines the relationship between the different phases of the fertility of women in five-year age groups and their participation in reproduction. In addition to the process, special attention was given to the redistribution of the reproductive potentials at the municipal level based on the 1981 and 2002 census data.
